Seems pretty straightforward - if you come to the US with nothing and don't know anyone, you're homeless. Until you find someone to take you in or earn enough money, the US homeless population has increased by one.

Like every impeachment, at worst it gets all the Republicans on record as being OK with the behavior driving the impeachment.

It's been a steady drip of support+loss for a while. This will gain him 0 supporters, cost him some annoyingly small number, and soften support a bit among those remaining.

100%. For example, what if voters aren’t asking for a line graph showing retail theft going down, but to not see any context-free, undated mass shoplifting videos in their feeds? Good luck with that if our palantíri algo overlords don’t wish it.

If a past president had said this it would be assumed to be shorthand for "we've got a bill lined up for this and whipped enough votes, consulted the lawyers, etc" and it might well have still gotten reported as the shorthand.

Yeah I've found that describing the thing I want to write well enough to delegate it to an LLM (or a human, really), is roughly equivalent to just writing the thing.

I never owned one but I did perf testing on them at QCOM for a while. Digging through CeLogs and recording screen taps with a high speed camera. Tried hacking up drivers to automate some of that but never succeeded.
