you know why 90's music was so awesome? Because there was so much of it that was unique and all of it was done well. Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Country, Alternative, Punk, Ska, Swing/Big Band....like hits everywhere in every genre and they were all different...the variety we had in the 90's was unmatched

Someone straight up tried to tell me that speedrunner culture has ruined gaming because it seeks instant gratification.

Oh yeah, the people who replay the same games thousands of times to shave a fraction of a second off their times are TOTALLY in it to feel immediately rewarded. Sure thing.

Just heard the best name for the upcoming Steam Machine.

"The Gabecube"

Fascinating: due to my memory loss, I lose tunes within an hour, can’t play without a score. But I’m somehow learning the procedural parts of music; like hand position and chord shapes.

While my cognitive memory continues to fail, my muscle memory is thriving.

This is so exciting!

Music study progress: Yesterday I learned my first basic chord progression.. Today I feel like I know ALL the music... 1-5-6-4 everywhere.

I'm very new to the #Bluesky.

Something I've noticed: Is it just me or does bsky feel more like a community than other similar platforms? I don't know why, but it just feels more open, inviting, and friendly...

"Why does everybody use Steam instead of my crappy game store?"

This right here, Tim. This is exactly why.

You don't care for, respect, or even listen to your users. You just repeatedly make tone-deaf statements that prove how out of touch you are.
Epic Games boss Tim Sweeney thinks stores like Steam should stop labeling games as 'made with AI' 🎮

"It makes no sense for game stores where AI will be involved in nearly all future production"

My brain has decided to put my #gamedev journey on hold for a minute, instead becoming obsessed with learning to make #chiptune #8bit #retro #gamemusic and #lofi #music. Zero music knowledge and memory loss are making learning "interesting" but I'm getting a huge kick out of it. #musictherapy

We've been working on something special for you, GDLibrary: a completely free library for Godot devs

Think of it as your go-to place whenever you need help: tutorials, guides, a glossary to look up terms, and open source demos and assets to use in your games!

Here's a quick peek at what's coming.
