Slugcat; the Pilot
Lizard; the Beast
Eight-fold Endeavors (8FE); An earlier generation iterator interested in augmenting the local inhabitants. Believes empowering fauna is the solution to the great problem, although she's less captivated by the end-goal and more-so with pushing biology to its limits. The Beast; a machine built from the body of a cyan lizard. Equipped with a harpoon tail, hydraulic jaws, and a pod designed to house the Pilot. 8FE believes combining the body of a predator and the competence of a slugcat will make them the apex of their respective species. She's tasked these two with the goal of culling vultures to recover prey population, giving her more patients to work with. The Pilot; 8FE's most recent patient, frail, hungry, tired. Modified with a tail that allows them to interact with machinery and pilot the beast. Eye replacement lets them see an overseer's perspective.
