My artwork titled Escaping the Flesh, which shows a skeleton desperately trying to pull itself out from a writhing mass of meat, muscles, and bones.

A monster I designed inspired by dead twisted trees. The head is a spiraling knot leading into a deep hole, the hand turns into a scythelike shape, the ribcage opens to look almost like a skull, and the legs are twisted vinelike tentacles. It's mostly in shadow and intricately crosshatched

Hahaha, I dont even know Java or C# really well honestly 😅 I switched majors because I was struggling in intermediate courses! I am sure I will eventually learn it (if I can learn Japanese I can learn any other language) but its definitely not gonna be anytime soon!

All of MSM is owned by rich conservative aholes who dont WANT their journos calling him out on it though! Bezos owns WaPo, Murdoch owns NYP, WSJ, you name it, Ellison just leveraged CBS into his property, I could go on. You will never see pushback from them, they WANT a dictatorship in their pocket

Still very much struggling to get Mediamonkey 5 to run on Linux. Followed several guides, and managed to get it installed, and it opens, but there's zero text. Do I need to download a font for it????

Javascript is not Java, those are two very different things!!! I was trained in Java, which is functionally only used for one specific version of Minecraft these days

I think C# still gets used to some degree, but its a completely different beast from what it was back then

See i *was* a computer science major when i first went to college, but this was in like 2007 or so, and back then they taught everything in languages which are mostly defunct. There was definitely nothing like Unix or GNU or whatever this is there! It was all in Java or C#.

Oh I'm definitely TRYING to learn, but I'm like. Still a beginner at fuckin python, a lot of this stuff for me is like trying to read Mandarin Chinese with my extremely limited knowledge of Japanese. Sure, theres some overlap, but its still a whole other beast lmao

its quite exhilerating just slamming code into the linux terminal that random websites tell me to and hoping my computer doesnt explode. its like a back-alley doctor who tells me to take sketchy pills, but the back-alley doctor is either a bearded guy who hates the government or a furry hacker

And only 1 in 10 say they are accepted by their extended family.

This is the lowest number ever found in surveys asking similar questions.

We can push it so that AI models HAVE TO pay for stuff they're trained on, that AI models HAVE TO follow regulations to prevent harmful server farm setups, etc. And sure theres always gonna be some people who DO use it, thats not going away. But we can (and should) mock those who do!

I think the thing about the notion that AI is "here to stay" is that theres SOME truth to it; in that you cant just make a technology stop existing once its been figured out. But this notion fails to account for one major thing: That you CAN absolutely make it social or financial suicide to use it
