It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

Neat article about testing the reasoning ability of LLMs to write a game in assembly language for the #Commodore64
I made #Claude and #Gemini write Tetris in 6502 assembly for a Commodore 64.

One worked. One produced a black screen.

Turns out a missing 3-byte instruction (CLC) breaks everything on 1982 hardware.

Isn’t it great how iOS 26.2 will just randomly not show you a keyboard when you tap into a text box?

It’s a great opportunity to pause and think “Hmm, maybe I don’t need to type this right now.” #mindfulness

Loved hearing Ben Folds Philosophy on @wxpnfm.bsky.social thanks @kristenkurtis.bsky.social

It's strange how a song can collapse 30 years into around 3 minutes.

It left me feeling deeply nostalgic.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.
