Three of my neighbors in district 1 were killed in three separate car collisions last night. We need action now to reduce pedestrian and cyclist deaths.

YOU need to do more to improve your own driving. Do better. Keep your neighbors alive.

When you're asked by your grandchildren what you did when tyranny came to Portland, you need to be proud of the answer. Show up, stay peaceful, stay safe, and stand up for Portland.

6) Mayor Wilson released his budget, and we held our first official budget hearing. He did a great job, and this is a really great starting point. Here are my remarks:

1) D1 deserves a district office but we're not spending $1.2M on a new office build out. This was the top end of a highly speculative quote from Facilities. This money is coming from our current City Council office budgets. Some Councilors are hiring more staff, I'm doing what was promised to voters
