I use this for scale models, I will typically cover an area and then immediately remove most of it with a makeup sponge and then blend the rest with odorless turpentine. That's what I am doing in the photo below. Also useful to leech the linseed oil off on a piece of cardboard first.

This beautiful cat that I love with all my heart and soul has the worst gas imaginable right now, and she keeps climbing on my shoulder and farting directly in my mouth. Ghastly.
