One of the weird byproducts of modern life (at least for me) is I've formed multiple parasocial relationships with various feral cats that are on tiktok. Hopefully this is because I am an empathetic and loving person and not crazy. Anyways one of them died yesterday and it made me really sad.

One nervous habit that I've had since the dawn of computing is that I like to double click on chunks of text as I am reading, and when I do that bluesky opens that tweet and shows all of the replies rather than just leave it open with the text highlighted.

How is it that BG3 is doing the thing where you get a contextually appropriate depending on where you rest? Is this a tech thing or is it just (just!) a brute force thing making sure that there's one of every possible variant? If so that's impressive in it's own way.

Baldur's Gate 3 is the real deal. Seriously intimidating shit. I move through the world at a snail's pace with no idea if I should be even trying to win some of these combats. Save Scumming like crazy. Picking up everything. Yes I need 100 skulls.

When you complete a level in Terra Nil, you have two options to proceed: "Continue" or "Appreciate". When you fail a stage you are told that it's ok, not every seed grows into a tree. There's a ton of lovely details and execution to appreciate in this game.
