It's a bit contentious, cuz gamers will be offended that they made a game not catered to them: a game with an entry level of having at least 2 skilled friends. But not every game should be to everyone's taste.
"Everyone game = No one game" and all that jazz
So yeah, I still like Marvel Rivals.

I think this will be a much more relevant topic when the AAA extraction shooters come out, like Arc Raiders. Personally, I'd rather go solo than do matchmaking in Hunt.
I'm also not ready to come to any conclusions about Marathon until my friends also get into the alpha. (I'm still worried, tho)

I think that's a big discredit to the game to think that way. Sure, there are times where this statement is accurate (Redfall), but so many games care about the UX of teamplay and/or co-op, that it's not an accident or a crutch that multiplayer is more fun with people you know how to socialize with.
