I did not appreciate (kind way of putting it—I was pissed off ) being lied to as a kid so never did the Santa thing with my kids. They knew all the good stuff came From my parents anyway. So, my kid was probably the one who spilled the beans to the other kids.

I am trying to search for the newspaper articles. So many naysayers thought it would never last. But we were persistent. I rode the bus every day of operation (whether I needed to or not) for the first FIVE years just to make a point.
