I sometimes wonder if people who insist that everything is a distraction have to run their own errands. “This grocery trip is a distraction from the REAL issue, which is the weird noise my engine is making! The fact we’re out of toilet paper is a distraction from the REAL issue which is dinner!”

Fucking disgusting the leaders debate made Mark Carney take TWO questions (plus follow ups, so four) from dogshit grifters who were behind the article targeting HIS CHILD

All bc they're too chickenshit to stand up to these asswipes that crawled out of their mom's basements for the night

Carney is asked about this policy in his presser, and he calls it a "very dangerous step."

"We have a Charter of Rights and fundamental freedoms in this country, and it's the responsibility -- in my view -- of the prime minister and of the government of Canada to defend that charter."
Whoa, Poilievre's announcement today:

He would invoke the notwithstanding clause to overturn a Supreme Court ruling and make sure multiple murderers die in prison.

This would make him the first prime minister to override the Charter using the notwithstanding clause.

Interesting idea to contemplate
Following the reactivation of its Psychological Defence Agency, every Swedish household now receives a booklet titled “If Crisis or War Comes,” outlining what to do in an emergency.

Canada should be doing the same, writes Peter MacLeod.

An extraordinary speech and responses by PM Trudeau. Very clearly pointing out Donald is trying to break us to annex us. It will not happen.

Couldn’t be more proud of the PM.

“A reminder to believe nothing you see or hear on CBC.”

Because if you did, they’d keep the power to hold Pierre to account for the things he says and does! And god forbid anyone does that!!

Chickenshit, autocratic rhetoric from a guy who keeps boosting bootlicker media

"Political parties are important, but the country is more important than any one particular party.
We need a strong... and robust government, supported by... Parliament, to deal with these very grave... matters.”
Cool. So you're also calling on the opposition to delay a non-confidence vote, right?
