I had a wee chat with the extremely talented Scott Cassidy on the The Wee Sparrow Poetry Podcast (my Granny has told me off already!). We spoke all things social disparity, masculinity, society, creativity and the importance of community support organisations

Last week I was privileged to present the Places, Spaces & Relationships project at the @hwlg.bsky.social conference alongside two of our Experts by Experience. Our presentation was co-designed with our Experts & focused on the challenges, importance & reality of co-produced research ✌🏻

Happy Care Day! Care Day is the result of charities representing Care Experienced individuals across the UK joining to provide support & effect change.

To mark Care Day here is a poem I co-created with inspiring care young people from the Articulate Cultural Trust.

📚It has been a reading morning for me, spent at the wonderful Toshie’s cafe in Maryhill. It is part of The Courtyard Pantry Enterprise, which aims to reduce the harmful effects of poverty, using food as a vehicle for change.

I’ve been back in Glasgow 10 year and up until now the strangest thing I’ve seen in this city was a man trying to hoover a puddle, but today I witnessed a woman trying to eat fajitas like pizza 🤯

Social and public health sciences unit @uofglasgow.bsky.social is at risk of closure. There is critical research related to the health of our communities that will cease and fantastic staff involved in this research that will be made redundant. I have signed the petition challenging this decision 👊🏻
