I'd want a V For Vendetta series to have actually been made here in the UK in the 1980s, with no special effects, just noirish lighting for its grimy brick locations.

(Big enough deck not to have the "only so many high numbers" issue often, and having more middling numbers than one each suit, though sometimes a joking "grrr!" when another player gets the best card from the suit you use most.)

It's never a "get out of the way" system, but adds some fun minigame options.

I like the lessened randomness sometimes, and particularly if they add more. Like the Marvel SAGA system added stat-based suits (Strength, Agility, etc.) and if you used the right colour for your action you could turn over another card from the deck, taking damage was based on card number, and more.
