I'll be honest. Dunno if I will complete the first chapter of #MightyTritons before the year ends unless I get an explosion of inspiration. But I am willing to open an AMA thread to stretch out my character writting skills. Ask me anything about these three and i'll reply.
Vale Loup -Age: 22 -Race: Mammalian Merman -Abilities: Triton Shift, Echolocation. -Weaknesses: Shorter than average memory span, Loud noises. -Likes: Going to new places, Triton history. -Dislikes: Venomous Fish, Bullies, Begin Alone. Vale Loup is a merman fron the far away Orcadian Pod near the waters of Antartica. During his childhood, he started out begin one of the lesser members that struggled the most with finding his place, and even when he settled into the position of "Area Control" which meant roaming the Pod's living area to check if any threats lurked around, he ended up retiring earlier to join the Triton Alliance after begin affected by the bliss. He is a bit lazy sometimes, has trouble focusing on one thing for too long, and dosen't know how to regulate his voice tone often. Still, Ursa Bettanis has assigned him as the main leader of the Emerald Quadrant. Vale often more than not puts his trust onto his two partners, sometimes too much trust. But he strives to learn and improve alongside them. Dora Yiirrr -Age: 20 -Race: Atlan Mermaid -Abilities: Triton Shift, Song Spells. -Weaknesses: Partners begin mean to her, Too easy to excite. -Likes: Singing, Spotting cute things, Otters. -Dislikes: Eating fish, Deep Ocean creatures. Dora Yiirr is a Mermaid born and raised in the Atlan Domain by her Atlan mother and a father from a different merfolk subspecies and later died during a storm before she was born. She has the skin color of his father and tail/hair color of her mother. At the age of 9, Dora became quite interested in the Muses and Muselings: A group of merpeople said to be the ultimate exponent of artistic expression in all the seven seas, with specialties such as singing, dancing, poetry, art, architecture and so much more. She's quite bubbly and excited about looking cute unlike many of her classmates, who are more of the traditional "Muse Attitude" type that is characterized by elegance and intelligence. While sometimes not fitting in, Dora always finds a way to show what makes her special. As a Museling, and a Triton. Kristacio: -Age: 22 -Race: Gray Siren (Male) -Abilities: Triton Shift, Knowledge of hunting. -Weaknesses: His own stubborness, lack of knowledge on Merfolk customs and tech. -Likes: Hunting, Leading the pack, Human Objects. -Dislikes: Begin lead by most others, Telling other people about himself. Kristacio is a Siren, a type of merfolk known to live in the deep sea and having a very different lifestyle. Where various pods of Sirens are known to hoard territories, while loners are also known to wander around and surviving on whatever they get a hold off. Kristacio was abandoned by his parents when he was nothing but a guppy, which is often the case for Sirens when raising their young. Instead of swimming back home, Kristacio became a lone wanderer. That's pretty much all of his backstory known from general conversation. Only those who have been in moments of his past can tell you about it, as he keeps his mouth shut. Regarding his attitude, he often argues with Vale and Dora about taking their duties seriously, and can often be seen responding with ethier internalized anger or sarcastically whenever things don't go as planned. Still, he is willing to open his heart from time to time, and he's the strongest member of his quadrant even at base form. Also he likes human trinkets... A lot.

Close Enough (Season 1, 2020)
Close Enough (Season 1, 2020) I have a couple of "Leave it for later" shows in mind right about now. One of those is by the same creator of my favorite series growing up, Regular Show. It is called Close Enough, released in 2020 and ending in 2022, it should be remembered as a fun comedy about Millenials raising a child but instead it's legacy got sabotaged by people in charge of finances at WB, deciding it would be a good idea to remove a fuckton of shows from streaming so they can stop paying those NASTY "Residuals" instead of cutting the CEO's paycheck maaaaaybe just a bit. Of course I could rate this series a 6 and say some "Animation is cinema" ass statement about this horrid desision but I am an objective critic... Nah just kidding. But I will try to review this whole show in an isolated manner. First up, I think JG Quintel doing a show with his artstyle right after Regular Show ended was a bad choice, since it made it look uninteresting from the get go. Most CN big names when they make a new show, it almost always has a different look from the one that came before. I know adult animated shows sharing artstyles is nothing new and will probally keep happening now and again, but still. The intro is pretty neat looking, I like the fluid B&W Josh and Emily meeting which then leads to trippy colors, kinda see that short five seconds as a tribute to his first batch of shorts (Naive Man from Lolliland and 2 in the AM PM). And I like how the characters are more offmodel compared to the last seasons of RS. Also I know about that fickle word "Calarts" and how most 2010's shows share a common artstyle but there's a villian early on that looks like it could belong on Gravity Falls which is really funny to me. (1/2) (2/2) I throught a few episodes in that the heavily referencial humor of the show would get old and yeah it kinda did. Feels like JG let himself go after begin techincally held back by Regular Show begin on CN but he did it in the mosr unsubtle way possible. For those who haven't seen it: Regular Show usually dosen't do direct namedrops or have characters from other movies and series or even just straight up celebrities show up. They usually have stand ins or in-universe media that pays homage. Close Enough has like... Three of those and every other time it's a direct reference and sometimes the entire joke is the reference itself. Like yeah I know that Post Malone has Post in his name leave me alone. Reminds me when Inside Job S1 came out and everyone said it was too reference heavy, I finally understand it now. But I do like the plots and characters, wish some of them got a bit more screentime tho. There's not much in the way of "Josh and Emily learn how to be parents" plots and instead they focus on one or the other plus Bridgette and/or Alex doing adult stuff together. Worst episode was the "Josh finishes his videogame project" one since everyone acts slightly out of character plus it's just uninteresting. Best ones are the halloween one and the one where Josh enters a prank war that one was actually pretty cool. I'll give a more complete veredict once I finish this series but it was a decent time this season. Rating: 4 clown cocks out of 6
