I know this lived in the shadow of Baldurs Gate 2 and Diablo 2... but as a pure dungeon run experience with some amazing vibe, this was and still is actually one of my favorite D&D computer games. The very tactical usage of D&D rules provided some of the best fight scenarios of Infinity engine.

Seh es auch so, Game Key Cards werden nicht gekauft. Entsprechend gut für meinen Geldbeutel, Schade um weniger Spiele. Hätte mir zb. sofort Yakuza 0 Direcors Cut geholt, wenn es auf Cartridge gewesen wäre. So wirds die PC (wenns schon digital sein muss) oder PS5 Fassung 🤷🏼

Hab alle noch nicht gespielt bisher, immer spannend, sowas nachzuholen :) Grad Sega Saturn-Spiele (bzw generell 2D Arcade-Spiele aus der Ära) sind leider oft noch ein blinder Fleck in meiner Spieleerfahrung. Das Gun Force 2 der richtig gute Teil ist und Teil 1 eher mittel hatte ich gehört..

I recently saw the description a few times that the internet went from a separate place you visit from your living room desk and then close down again to an entity that is everywhere all the time. Everything is now somehow connected, social media is THE third place for many (unfortunately).

You can't even follow most local band/events without social media. Schools & university will organize via it. Google is becoming useless, for a lot of information you need to be on platforms. Yes, technically you can walk away. But it's not how the structures of our society currently operate.

No, it is a structural issue at this point. For most younger people, social media/internet is basically a social and work/educational requirement. You can not simply walk away anymore. And as soon as you have to use it, most social media is designed to be a psychological trap keeping you there.

Aber vielleicht Mal noch ne allgemeine Late 90s Arcade Collection. So Sachen wie Cannon Spike, Shooter wie Mars Matrix und Giga Wing.. Da könnt Tech Romancer stilistisch vlt reinpassen ganz gut. Wobei da vermutlich die Zielgruppe kleiner ist.

Ja, der Vollständigkeit halber wäre das noch spannend gewesen. Zumal es das vermutlich auch erstmal war mit Fighting Collections von Capcom :( Die ganzen Darkstalkers und Street Fighter Sammlungen gibts ja auch schon am Markt..

Ich warte noch auf meins, aber es wurde gestern losgeschickt. Freu mich sehr drauf, zumal ich auch endlich wieder einen Arcadestick für aktuellere Geräte da hab. Capcom vs SNK 1/2, Rival Schools, Power Stone 1/2... quasi meine Capcom-Lieblingsprügler der Dreamcast Ära vereint.

Glad they have that option. I can relate to several modern games feeling overstimulating to the point that I don't enjoy playing them. I will keep that toggle in mind if I feel overstimulated by this game :)
