I think any kind of strong affinity to any social media site beyond it's practical uses is always such a bizarre thing to have, and seems to always devolve into (utterly unwarranted) superiority complex.
Both people on Mastodon & tumblr are high on their supply, & both became banal as shit.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Abed. Abed is a dentist who managed a practice. It was destroyed as well as his home. He has been displaced 13 times along with his children Sabreen, 8, Salah, 7 and Ahmed, 5. Sabreen and Salah both have facial injuries that need treatment.
