One of the biggest challenges: Her hair. Hot pink is not a commonly used color. So, I tried to remember the rule outlined in the course and slid the color picker towards the cooler variations since the hair is in the shade. So, even though it's cooled down significantly, it still stands out.

Here, I did a few color keys to see how the colors would work in different settings. I made them sloppy towards the end because I started to overthink and get into unnecessary details. I need to practice more with creating shapes for better clarity, but laying it out was the main priority right now

First thing I noticed was her color scheme: It's analogous even though I thought it was monochromatic at first, as I broke it down further, I saw that the ‘gray’ on the top portion of her wings, is a cooler gray blue.

But anyway. I did this as a color study of Drolta after taking Marco Bucci's color course.

My breakdown will be in the replies, what I have learned and all the nerding that I did why catering to my obsession of this lovely lady.
