@chrismurphyct.bsky.social @blumenthal.senate.gov oust Senator Shumer as minority leader and strip the rest of the cowards of committee assignments. If they wont fight then they need to be sidelined as much as possible. Fight for this country, fuck seniority bullshit. We need real leaders now.

The shooting today was in line with the victims philosophy. It doesn’t matter if its kids or political operatives, we should accept the violence as a byproduct of the inalienable right to own guns, and anyone who followed him should move on like they do with every mass shooting. He said as much.

Googles crackdown on side loading on android is an omen for things to come. Microsoft is next, they’ve tried soft launching it before with an alternative windows version, but don’t be surprised if 12 comes with limitations on what you can install.

I keep seeing different bots with the same pfp spamming open source project updates/“news”. Is anyone aware of who/what is responsible for this? The linux feed is inundated with them.

Linux has a reputation of being for “power users”, but if you saw how inefficient and allergic to macro’s I am you’d know you can use linux like a grandma and still be just fine

The one drive integration in windows is awful. Its just seems like a data grab. like they’ll have you store all ur shit on there servers, the one day they add a clause to the eula that lets them use it to train an AI and you cant log in to windows until you agree to it.

I only played on linux this year so steam didn’t show me the pie chart😢😢 and yes that is a humble brag about only using linux

Ive seen multiple convos online where someone asked an AI for information and presents it like a fact. Just….no, AI can and does lie. Instead do research, google it(ignore gemini), wikipedia often has sources you can check yourself, AI hallucinates, it makes shit up, it’s not reliable.

That post that got shared everywhere about linux not being able to count votes for different parties was wild. I knew immediately it was bullshit, but it made me wonder if something like that for another subject I’m knowledgeable on ever fooled me. Probably unfortunately
