Either the series isn't sure what it wants to be, or this is just an episode that fails to match the tone of what's come before. I can't figure out which.

When the show dials up the scares, they only partially land for me. Maybe because it sometimes comes across as goofy vs. terrifying.

Both Morris and Rossi know how to spin a compelling tale, and fans old and new will find a lot to enjoy in this collection.

You can tell the actors were thoroughly enjoying themselves. I'm always saddened by the Sheridan-Garibaldi conflict here, even knowing why it it's happening.

The episode begs the viewer to consider how they would react in the same circumstances. It's a compelling question.

I'm interested to see how this premise stretches into a series. Will it continue in the horrific vein, or will it take a different direction?

It's very clear that this is meant to set up a character in Joe Country, which thankfully I am jumping right into after this!
