Feels like spring today, so I think I’ll start posting some of my bird pics that are at crowvoice.com/birds/
This Anhinga, my first, was working a small pond at Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge. One of a million reasons to defend public lands.

Since the Musk/Trump regime had shown itself to be an enemy of the free world, I would welcome Allied forces to overthrow it and restore democracy. I don’t think America will learn its lesson on its own. We need a complete tear down and rebuild.

Regarding the felon’s idiotic renaming of the Gulf of Mexico: it’s not just a distraction, it’s not just pathetic jingoism, but it’s also a loyalty test. Dictators demand their followers to accept ridiculous things to demonstrate their control over them.

People on X are calling for AOC's arrest for posting this.... so I am posting it everywhere!

I hope you’ll buy my books from from an indie bookstore (like Elk River Books) or from @bookshop-org.bsky.social. But If you’re going to buy from Amazon, I’d rather you don’t buy them at all.

There needs to be an app that automatically removes the felon’s face from any posted photo. It’s too damn triggering to see his idiotic face dozens of times a day.

Here’s a nice photo of the Gulf of Mexico, which is what I’ll always call it because I’m not a petty pathetic jingoistic little man-baby.

Breaking my social media blackout for the day to say, I am so insanely grateful that Leonard Peltier is finally free! An innocent man and righteous warrior, who had his freedom stolen by a corrupt FBI and (in)justice system.
The only good news on this dark day.

So nice of Mountain Outlaw to boost my book, “These Creatures of a Day.” Even nicer to share the page with my dear friend Debra Magpie Earling and her amazing “Lost Journals of Sacajawea!” It’s a must-read (along with her “Perma Red”).

To all those who have asked, I will be celebrating MLK and holding auditions for a play on Monday. Nothing else of importance is happening that day.
To all of those who have asked, I will not be acknowledging the Inauguration on January 20th.

So in my monthly newsletter, I usually let people know about upcoming poetry and theatre events, updates on what creative friends are up to, etc. But this time, there’s only one thing to talk about.
