Freezing tax thresholds is raising taxes for many people. More tax will be paid by people because of this.

They are very much real terms tax rises, and just like you'd correctly call a real terms pay cut a pay cut, we should call this what it is: a tax rise (or stealth tax rise if you like)

The idea that there is a meaningful amount of people trying to cheat the system is not really true.

The narrative of "fakers" has been used for decades to try and deny resources and protections from people who need them.

The USA is the most propagandized nation on earth, they will not stand for sources that allow for their people to get facts that contradict their hegemony.

Spirited Away is my pick for his best. It's a stunning and flawless work of art. Wind rises, Totoro and Nausicaa probably my next picks, but so many good ones, Ponyo is gorgeous, Princess mononoke is rich and poignant etc

I rate Porco Rosso towards the middle of his stuff but it's still fantastic .

I can only think of a very few deceased directors who I would even consider as greater.

We are truly lucky to live in a world with such an exceptional artist of cinema.
