These will be used in CAR T cell therapy, a ground-breaking treatment to boost the immune system to fight cancer.

Congratulations to Joshua Daoud at @qmbci.bsky.social, who won 3rd prize in our 2025 Image Competition. His image shows the highly complex relationship between glioblastoma (brain cancer) and cells of the brain. By examining this 3D model of cells in the lab, scientists hope to improve treatments.
