21yrs ago I survived, we all did. I still remember the sounds, the sights. Some years are harder than others, this one has been quite terrible. The PTSD is real, rearing its head. The nightmares aren't as common these days, thankfully. My seat was 5B, aisle. 5th window, starting from that gate/door.

I used to joke that the hand panels of this scope would have to be pried from cold dead hands ... today we remember the sign off day for the Themis. I still wish she could've pried my cold fingers from them ... we miss you more than words can express.
