Was delighted to find this autobiography of a “self-cured schizophrenic,” pen name Barbara O’Brien, originally published in 1958. I believe RD Laing mentions, or cites the book in his book the Divided Self.

while I was messing around in my bsky settings, I saw that you can set it so the app won’t let you post a pic w/out alt text! as someone who tries to do alt text but often forgets, I found this really helpful :) highly recommend for any other disability allies who are bad at remembering alt text!
