Random low-poly practice. Focused on realistic body proportions and joint topology. Super proud of how the knees turned out and tried to do elbows the same way, but it got a little messy.

So a lot of my old Illustrator files are kind of broken and can't open in Inkscape, and I can't use my templates to make new thumbnail art. So...do it in Blender. Like basically everything else I do anymore. Here's regular and spooky stream thumbs.

Toy section at Goodwill is a great place to find cheap Nerf guns. Especially if you don't care if they work because you want to, say, paint them to make cosplay props.

That said, found a Longshot in damn near perfect condition for $6 today. Always wanted one of these.

Starting from scratch instead of trying to use my one existing good model as a template was definitely the better move.

So...I forgot to stream on Monday because I got hyper focused on this all day. Actual animations for arrow tiles returning to the tray instead of just popping back. Originally had them flipping over, but couldn't make it look right.

Noticed while working on the level maker that objects being created at different times caused their animation cycles to de-sync. I liked the effect and added it to the game. Objects now start their animations on random frames instead of from frame 0.

Long note entry detailing possible solution for Antimatterator’s most infuriating bug, the “Turning Bug.” If a reg is directly following an anti, their hit boxes can overlap while the anti makes a turn, resulting in an unintentional failure. Changing hit box size is not feasible as it causes collision detection issues elsewhere. Possible final fix: TEMPORARY change to hit box size. An alternative solution to the turning bug. Instead of temporarily reducing hit box size, create a separate hit box altogether that ONLY detects collision with a reg, and can therefore be smaller than the normal hit box without fear of messing up other collision interactions.

Blender kept randomly crashing on me. Apparently solution this time was to UNINSTALL drivers. Had to test by seeing if Blender would let me have Tailii model open for more than a few minutes. Played with FOV. Test successful. Reinstalling drivers causes crashes to reoccur.

With the unlocking of "Slate Blue" the full Wplace palette is now at my disposal! I probably won't use most of those colors, but at least I'll always be able to fix anything I see getting messed up by griefers.

Wouldn’t exactly say “scared” but as a kid I always found the primitive 3D animation in Sonic 3D Blast weirdly off-putting, and thought it made Robotnik in particular look super creepy.
