I also slightly redesigned the level control buttons to be more geometric because the round ones had a lot of jaggies that were really bugging me. Looking at them side by side, though, I'm not sure I actually like the new ones. Might go back to the round ones and see if I can smooth them out a bit.

Neither of those possibilities require retconning his death or resurrecting him, though. Admittedly I could see them doing something with the dyad. Maybe like the Cyberpunk thing where he and Rey trade off controlling their shared body, and whoever isn’t in control just hangs around in ghost form.
