Speaking of IW, the funniest detail in that game is when they include the Ryudo Family in the list of Clans they’re talking to about dissolution as if the Ryudo Family isn’t 2 guys in an alley.
That’s the optimistic count of course, Nakahara is probably dead by IW, long live Patriarch Aragaki

They really lost the opportunity for these games to be cohesive in any way, although they’ve been trying to rectify that the last few years (Watase in LAD, Minami in Pirate Yakuza, every living major character in LAD returning in Infinite Wealth)
