Just a hotdog playing video games, messing around with AI and growing weed.
I grow in coco/perlite and have been trying different ways to be as lazy as possible. Next grow will be drippers with no auto watering bases, 2 gallon bags, no additional prebuffering. After that I was thinking RDWC.

Hey man, I grow Hella Jelly a lot, you have to hit it a little harder but it can really ring your bell. Fantastic terps. Congrats, looks like your set, no more dispos.

I had these Square Farmer ones before. Now I just use when buffering coco. The VivoSun ones are actually pretty sweet given the price IMO.

I tried them with 2 and 5 gallon bags. VivoSun, $50 for all four. Happy with them overall but this grow really showed their weakness. Salts can build up fast in the base, hence the tip burn. I lose control. Putting them on 30 minute drippers and adding riser between base and bag, 2 gallon again.

Vivosun auto watering bases. I still mix and hand "fertigated" everyday but the plants runoff was available to the plants. You lose too much control using the wicks in a hydro setup. They collect runoff nice so I will just put a small riser in between the bag and the base, adding drippers.

You know I think you might be right about the lights, I had high VPD, these plants have been heat stressed, low humidity, drybacks (I grow in coco/perlite so they should be soaked at all times). Its a grow right on the edge, lol.

So suddenly 5-7 million people decided to stop drinking and driving? Maybe, instead they are driving stoned?

Both are dangerous but one is far more dangerous than the other.

Weed doesn't mess with reaction time the same as booze. It just doesn't.

Limez, Squirt (2), Orange Cream Pop. Almost done. My next grow close to flip is Raspberry Parfait, Orange Cream Pop, The Bling and Blueberry Muffin X Vanilla Frosting.

This grow was so strange. I think I learned more than any other grow. I am never using wicks on the bases again which means all future grows will have 30 minute drip fertigation.

I wont be as aggressive with lights or bloom enhancers (phosphorous).

My canopy control was much better this time.
December 30, 2025 at 6:17 PM
I wondered about that. Its the highest setting and closest I have ever had the lights but they do not seem too close to me. I did back off a bit.

VPD was also high. Both could had played a part in this. Just glad its not mites.
December 30, 2025 at 6:10 PM
PAR was about 800, I was pushing them hard. No mites under, no webbing, no eggs.
December 30, 2025 at 5:35 PM
Mine is calcium lockout for sure. Thinking its too much phosphorus, bloom enhancer. That can get in the way when you are really pushing the plants and I was, 850 PAR with no Co2.

I am a week from chop so I am just glad its not mites. I dont want to wash my bud.

Took me a while to really nail down what it is but its not spider mites. I have a 2000X scope I use for trichomes. Also the damage is closer to the veins, not random. Upper leaf damage, lower is fine. Its a calcium issue. Maybe too much phosphorus blocking it. PH and EC are fine. Last week anyway.
December 30, 2025 at 7:42 AM
I thought I had spider mites! What a scare. I cant find one though, no eggs, just all these small brown spots on the leaves but only the Squirt and only on top leaves. I think its a cal-mag issue, or hoping anyway. About a week from harvest so not changing anything.

I could never find it!
December 24, 2025 at 5:31 PM
I did with Relentless Seeds. I am also on the hunt for Ghost Lime Pop. My favorite strain. No luck yet other than the local dispo that has it but does not sell the flower, just concentrate.
December 24, 2025 at 3:48 AM
Relentless? Where ya get it?
December 23, 2025 at 11:00 PM
Looks dense!
December 22, 2025 at 6:45 PM
Looks like fun. I am getting ready to chop my first crop this season. Cant wait to see some updates.
December 22, 2025 at 6:44 PM
The plants on the left are not bulking up like the ones on the right. I have one Squirt on both sides and one is packing it on, the other not so much. I do have another Orange Cream Pop going for my next run. These plants did stress late veg. Still should get a half a pound.
December 22, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Damn. I have a Squirt plant turning purple, yours looks and sounds just my speed.
