This was one I'd almost got a couple of days ago, but decided due to the hint that it might be too hard for me. Today we spent some time looking in the wrong places, until Cuddlefish spied the cache. She reached in to get it, next minute she emitted an ear piercing scream, and flicked off a spider, which I saw from the corner of my eye. It had landed on her from above. Luckily I didn't see it, as I have a huge fear of spiders. I know, I'm in the wrong hobby. We managed to sign and return the cache with no further incidents. Thanks for the cache, I think!

Cuddlefish Premium Member 15275 Found it 17/Nov/2025 I am not likely to ever forget this find. As TrinityNZ and I walked to GZ I found myself reassuring her that of course there are no issues with caches in trees, because lurking spiders etc are probably unlikely and I even told an amusing story of seeing a spider on a previous visit to Melbourne, but indoors. It took us a while to spot the cache as we were barking up the wrong tree but once I switched GZ, I spotted the container. Reaching up, I pulled it out but as I did so I dislodged a spider that was not big by Aussie standards but huge by Canadian ones (about the size of a playing card). It landed squarely on my chest. I screamed and jumped and the spider flew off me. We signed in without incident and as I calmed down walking back to the car I vowed not to be naive about Aussie caching ever again. Thank you frilk for the cache.

I used to visit this library as a kid and I devoured every book on dinosaurs they had. 40+ years later the library has changed, the books are newer, but I’m still the same kid.
