I love the internet and digital services,
when it works for my life and ethics, and respects Human Rights.
Again I do understand security is important, but I fail to see how giving more of ourselves away by force, does not somehow break our Right to Privacy and is an acceptable loss,
It's scummy.

Otherwise why not have government cameras in your toilet cubicle, or finger printing to access the electric toilet paper
.. got nothing to hide right?
If I want to be off digital and still live my life easily,
yet that keeps feeling like it's being forced out of our hands..

.. "Your face is on cameras in the high street.."
Yeah that's true and security cameras can be useful, my issue is storage without proper explanation when it comes to official things such as digital storage.
+ Private companies finding ways to access and store.
Privacy is not the same as hiding..

"What do you have to hide?"
I equally have privacy as a Human Right, and unless there's a valid reason specifically to me, I can choose to say no. I should be able to say no..

.. governments, and unless there is a valid reason like being arrested and being booked, or through post mortem certificate etc. feels high level enough and seems acceptable.
But to just travel?
No.
Why?
We already give our faces at e-gates which rubs me the wrong way for the same way..

Also.
What information will it contain,
what databases will it be linked to?
Who has it stored?
Will AI companies have access?

Why even bother having a passport, will that be phased out
(I doubt it esp. with costs increasing for getting one)?
I just, it just has the feeling of encroaching on privacy that blurs towards security,
which feels unacceptable tbh. 🤷♀️
There should in my opinion, only be certain times to require..
