Not at all. I love that you still think of them and talk about them. Even the longest life for cats isn’t enough. The only comfort is that it’s better for us to lose them than for them to lose us.

Max sounds like he was a character. Stella is a hunter too. They always stay in our hearts after they are gone.

They know exactly what they are doing. My son (also Max) just reminded of the time I picked up a dead bird Stella had brought in, thinking it was a toy. 🤢
