I'm gonna finish s5 of B5 and start reading Crossroads of Ravens this weekend-ish bc I'm finally taking a normal human (?) holiday vacation

There are some cases to be made for "it's just not as good as the old stuff" and I can see how if you want that high octane aggressive METAL feel, the older albums are better for that, but sometimes I just want to feel things and go on a journey lol

As long as we can get past the bad "resurrect a dead man's voice with AI" takes, it should be fine

Kinda enjoying how Sheridan in mid-S4 goes INSANE without Delenn there to calm his wild ass down

Maybe it helped to put some real human faces to those characters, and they were funnier too. Some of the odd reactions to them I have to assume are from people who have never dealt with lost teenagers who don't care about shit lol

I'm just pointing to the cycle of violence and how those kids/young adults didn't have much of a choice either way. Ciri escaped all of this through tough love, survival training, and the wisdom of Vysogota

I do think they'd eventually be hunted down by someone else, die in a stupid brawl, overdose, or kill each other. They wouldn't live long happy lives bc there are always consequences for that kind of violent living--normal Witcher world stuff lol

I finally have time to watch that new Ken Burns documentary too... (Lowkey I'm watching bc Paul Giamatti reprises his John Adams role)
