I’ve been saying it for like 10 years and I will keep saying it: The Democratic Party needs to focus on empowering leaders that people actually like instead of just whoever happens to be the most boring and uncontroversial.

I think it depends on how optimistic you are about the ability to create change from the top down. If you think society can be improved somewhat just by altering gov structures: communism. If you think the only way to achieve true progress is tearing everything down and starting again: anarchism.
