Borrowed a friend's costume to match @storytellercosplay.bsky.social while we pass out candy tonight. This is my first time in years to live in a neighborhood with a lot of trick or treaters.

I recently worked on the EMEA Valorant Ascension trophy. Specifically the most of the paint, some cleanup, assembly, and the casting and gloss for the ORB.
Cool finish! I'm happy whenever a trophy looks like it's rendered but it's just there right in front of you.

It might be cheating to pick the stuff I worked on but alot of people put hundreds of hours of physical labor around toxic chemicals to make these happen.
I'm really proud of the projects I do and I wish that people could easily look up who did SFX work like they can with illustrator credits.

Gotta include Georgia! The Stranger Things lab is an old Emory University building and the Avengers Tower is the Porsche Building both in Atlanta among plenty of other UB film and fiction locations.

Another trophy I worked on recently was the MSI MVP plaque for League of Legends. A combination of airbrushing and hand painting, I needed to make sure the yellow/orange/purple gradient glowed over a black stone without blowing anything out.
It was *really* heavy too!

I recently worked on a trophy for Lorcana!
This is actually a gold tinted silver nitrate instead of our normal chroming, meaning you get that same mirror finish better than any paint without the challanges and restrictions metal plating.
It's still just as difficult to photograph though.

I've worked on literally over 100 of these Curse Dragon trophies over the years and I have yet to get tired of the way they look.

The jiggy is a very special piece. It's coated in a silver solution, an upgrade from my regular chrome paint. This thing has a true mirror finish.

The Chandra Chocobo statue for PAX was a huge endeavor, everyone in the shop had a hand in nearly every step. I'm so proud of how clean everything came together.
