Working for a state department of health right now is wild. Not only do we have a measles outbreak in our state, but we are constantly getting new federal guidance from vaccine deniers and cuts to federal spending on public health. The government is supposed to protect, not encourage death

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

Genuinely trying to decide whether to cut off friends (who don't reach out much) who voted for trump or not. I never thought I would be in that position, but knowing that our values so egregiously do not align is hard for me to reconcile
