I find it weird how the two times Freddy Krueger has made a big crossover game appearance it’s not the one people wanted, with both of them being primarily based on the 2010 Jackie Earl Haley Freddy, rather than the classic Robert Englund Freddy

Cartoon characters are just cartoon characters. We take from them what we need and want, but characters are who they are. They have their own journeys. I think sometimes people forget the point of fiction. I’ve seen people let characters dictate their life, as have I. It’s not worth it.
