it's a real misunderstanding of what is appealing about these pairings. the draw isn't "and then they become a cute perfect wholesome unproblematic couple" it's everything opposite of that

i could see a new 4k blu-ray release happening.i wouldn't bet money on it necessarily but it feels possible if they're going thru the effort to restore it to begin with

Its only marginally better than paramount and even that is just because of their unabashed relationship with the current govt administration. Any of these potential mega mergers are always a net awful for everyone except those getting pay outs

Substantial theatrical exhibition, physical media releases, just plain fewer movies and shows overall and frankly let's be real even physical comics thru DC which also puts more of the comics industry at risk, will all be at serious risk of extinction

Like paramount/skydance getting WB is somehow worse because or their unabashed partisan preference and political relationships but let's not mince words about how this still isn't a good thing

And that's before you consider that once the existing theatrical deals expire you can guarantee that Netflix will never let another WB film get a serious theater run. Exhibition will be wrecked and Netflix may actually achieve their goal of killing movie theaters.
