Wow… this keeps getting worse as I go through Brian Wilde’s December articles. An second-round pick, especially an early one, has well over a 10% chance of becoming an NHL regular.

I reviewed several earlier Brian Wilde articles to determine whether the Corsi error was isolated, and it appears to be part of a broader pattern. His reading of GSAx is also incorrect. Five goals against on 4.774 expected is negative, not positive, along with other issues in the interpretation. ⬇️
