I've had my link to vote for the trustees of the @mssocietyuk.bsky.social and I have voted against each one. It is not an open and fair election in my mind if there are three vacancies and the board has only given three nominees to vote for. I think it's disgraceful.

Once the first minute of the fireworks is over, I just look at it and think the amount of money it's costing would've been much better spent getting homeless people off the streets for a week, helping them with physical and mental health needs, and demonstrating a bit of humanity.

I thought that binging the West Wing was a commitment. But I’ve discovered the Good Wife is on channel 5 and I’m about to finish series 4, it’s bloody good and is really occupying my time! I might have to rewatch the Good Fight next!

wow. I’m not surprised by the attitude of a bigoted woman, but I’m disgusted that the council caved in and thought it was appropriate. I can’t believe she had the gall to say that: though as “a point of basic Christian belief, we welcome everybody…we’re not happy with the gay rights situation”.
