Anyone who describes refugee family reunion as a "golden ticket" should visit a refugee camp or war zone to see what life is like for many of the family members of people granted refugee status in the UK.

I'm a 4th gen migrant, my parents had different nationalities & I couldn't acquire my mom's nationality at birth due to a law that discriminated against women. But luckily I was a US citizen at birth...
