I was reading about a developing country where people pay taxes which cover water, while water reserves can be privately owned and when in need using the supply demand analogy sell back the most basic need of human beings with little to no control.

A Palestinian official report that Israeli forces dropped +85,000 tons of bombs and explosives on Gaza since the start of their war. This amounts to nearly 233 kg of explosives per square meter across Gaza’s 365 km². The scale of destruction exceeds the power of the Hiroshima bomb by five times.
