I had a hint of an asthma attack coming up during my run today when I picked up the speed in the cold and immediately thought of all that you've achieved.

Well done! 👏

So your new shoes have finally arrived? Yay! 🎉

I haven't been on one in ages, but I always loved the feeling when you get off and your brain is confused and thinks you need to keep moving in order to stay in the same place. 🤭

Schade, dass das nicht geklappt hat.

Bist du fündig geworden beim Thema Laptop mit rausnehmbaren Akku?

(Und war das Windows? 🤣)

Nothing wrong with enjoying good things several times. ☺️

Such a bright color! ☺️

I don't. If you already get enough through your diet and/or don't do any high-intensity training, it'll very likely be useless. As with almost all things, too much of it is unhealthy.

Ugh, they're the worst. As you said, that feeling when you realize something's stuck there. 😖

Also, some tiny insect bit or stung me at least three times in the face the other day while I was out gardening. We so need some frost here. If I have to do yard work in November, I want to do it in peace!

Great job! Love the colors. ☺️

Let's share your work with the knitting community, shall we? 🧶

(That's a rethorical question. 😁)

Yes, I did. Had ups and downs in this job as well, but I have a lovely manager and friendly co-workers which is worth a lot to me.

I'm sorry to hear you're suffering. Work really shouldn't do this to us. I know how hard it is to look for an alternative in your spare time when you're feeling poorly.
November 13, 2025 at 5:22 AM
Yes and no. I don't make a lot of money, but I don't have many expenses either, so I manage to save enough to do that kind of thing. It was still scary. I didn't have a choice at the time, that job was very unhealthy. It all worked out in the end, so no regrets, but not what you're asking, I guess.

I'm way too lazy for that - my solution was "more compost bins". 😂 (I have the space for that. I know not everyone does.)

Your super slow is my fast pace 🤣

(Beginner with health issues here, I'm often amused by how very different pace and effort are perceived by different runners.)

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. Please don't feel the need to respond to my comments or read all my posts on Bluesky. It's perfectly fine if you don't. ☺️

Thanks to you, I remembered how gaming helps me relax and feel energized. Now I "only" need to find the time for it... 😅

This year, I've been trying to be kinder to myself. You know, the thing about treating yourself like you'd treat a friend. Very similar to what you described. 🙂

Ah, that sounds like a wrong machine translation, that sentence doesn't make much sense in German.

"Tieekjens" means symptoms. I assume it comes from the Dutch "tekens" which means signs.

"Tücken" is hard to translate, it's similar to "something tricky"

"Mauslen" = Masern
"Mäuse" = mice

☺️

I'm always amazed how language evolves over time. I've heard some Amish speak Pennsylvania Dutch (which is a mix of German, Dutch, and English) in the US once when I was a kid and had a similar reaction to it.
