That’s the problem. I personally use other people’s lists as mute lists, and only my own as block, and have previously had a list that was my personal Berlin airlift to see people on a generally useful list that I didn’t make.

I’ve taken to turning off or limiting replies & quote-posts before bed when something is likely to generate noise.

With threads, if you change interaction settings after-the-fact, you have to change the interaction settings for each post in the thread Or turn them off in settings for everything.

With the caveat that my lists are first and foremost for my aide de memoire (and combinations give me clues on how that account ended up on my list), disinfo is one of those categories that, had I started it early, I would probably have a deeper bench, but I don’t see much because I have curated.
