First, I'm not a lawyer, I'm a poli-sci nerd with a military background. But I don't see how Trump is stopped with a complicit congress, and his apparent willingness to ignore court rulings. It would all come down to military leaders defying orders, which is... ultimately not a good thing.

What, exactly, do people think SCOTUS can do here? You do realize SCOTUS has ZERO enforcement mechanism right? The Executive Branch is responsible for enforcing SCOTUS rulings. SCOTUS did the right thing, 9-0 ruling. After that, there's literally nothing they can do.
