Well O'Connor wanted to retire but if Gore won she (a conservative) would be replaced by a Lib, and she couldn't have that happen so let's just agree to stop counting, er make up a reason that sounds legit to stop. Only part of the decision to stop the count but one of the more shallow reasons.

Kory T is working hard to make Ford palatable to the masses. He was very upset PP lost a 20pt lead. And he's very happy to have had millions gifted thru Ontario's Skills development fund. More grifting if they can convince more Canadians Mr Folksy is not a grifter.

This is all thanks to Kory Tenycke (recipient of SDF millions) working to polish this "image" for national audiences. Kory was very upset PP blew a 20pt lead. Harper worked with Ford when Rob was mayor. The grift continues...

It's a marketing term used by fossil fuel companies to rebrand methane to the general public. Anything 'of the Earth' is "natural", like cyanide or asbestos...but the term downplays the negative effects and pollution and health impacts of burning methane fossil gas

We need to do it all! Ontario has refurbished its nuclear reactors for longer service. They are safely managed and this is good because our Con govt would be building gas plants instead. There are always pros & cons with energy production. Refurb nuclear *instead of* new gas is a better option here.

Reactors like Chernobyl are not made anywhere anymore. That's not to say the removal of safety regs won't potentially cause other problems, but very unlikely to have any kind of Chernobyl-like explosion
