I’ve decided that if I find someone else with a lonely half to a long forgotten friendship necklace that fits together perfectly, that we should maybe just be soulmates about it or whatever

No, cause why are cars allowed to have headlights that harness the brightness of the sun and burn the retinas of any person unfortunate enough of driving opposite or in front of them

I would like to see the road, not a supernova, thank you very much

There are three types of autistic people:

1. Those who never want to/can’t cut their hair and have long hair

2. Those who hate having hair and have very short or no hair

3. Those who cut bits of their hair off whenever those pieces become overstimulating, leading to a very choppy haircut

Shoutout to the people who go ham with their Halloween decorations. I love seeing silly car decorations, full haunted houses, and fun yards. It truly makes my day

I have recently read one too many books overusing the words “gorge” and “sinew”. My brain has officially reached its limit on encountering them.

I now understand people who have issues with the word moist. My deepest sympathies 😔

Disabled people are not expendable.

The elderly are not expendable.

Children are not expendable.

We must stop assessing worth based on perceived economic contributions.

No one should have to prove they “matter” to get basic healthcare, housing, food or education.

When you’re talking nonchalantly about something traumatic, but you don’t think it was *that* bad, to your therapist.
Then halfway through you see their face and you realise, “Oh. I guess it was *that* bad. Whoopsies.”

My grandpa Dr. Harry Abe, veteran of the segregated 442 combat unit, helped found this museum!
He wanted future gens to learn from the history of the concentration camps and build an inclusive future. Proud to see JANM uphold those values and, like him, have the courage to oppose fascists 👊🏼

RFK Jr's move to eliminate the Administration for Community Living, which helps disabled & aging people stay at home instead of being institutionalized, is disastrous.
I'm never done shouting about what my mom's institutionalization took from her & from us (so here's my @teenvogue.com piece again).

In this op-ed, Lindsay Lee Wallace explores grief, and how no amount of success in school or work could protect her from it.
