What sucks about modern social media is the same problem with modern streaming. Everyone is divided up into a handful of samey sites when before everyone was just on facebook. I don't want a million streing sites, just give me basic cable again.

The deleted Viking prologue has the scene of the journal floating in the water that I remember all the promos using. It's like how Nickelodeon commercials used the bit from the Rugrats pilot where Tommy's shirt is orange. youtu.be/fV21Qtt6qW0?...

The deleted Viking prologue has the scene of the journal floating in the water that I remember all the promos using. It's like how Nickelodeon commercials used the bit from the Rugrats pilot where Tommy's shirt is orange. youtu.be/fV21Qtt6qW0?...
The commentaries and deleted scenes on the blu ray mention so much that was left out of the final cut to the point that I honestly wouldn't mind if this got the live-action treatment if it meant revisiting the more monster of the week format.

Atlantis and Digimon are my go-to examples of an ensemble cast that isn't necessarily friends, but are just trying to survive their current situation. Everyone just dunks on Milo for like half the movie. Nobody returns Tai's calls during Our War Game. Modern kids media is so averse to this dynamic.

Pop culture in the west circa early 2000s was already beginning to accept the idea of an animated action series, but imagine if Disney's forays into it actually did well. We'd have at least 50 more hamburger shonen than we currently have.

Still a perfect movie. Absolute zero fat. The fact this bombed at the box office is a crime. The fact Disney erased Kida from the Disney princess canon is a crime. The fact blue-people Avatar got a million sequels when this was the same concept and got a shitty DVD sequel is a crime. Many crimes.
