Anybody else here old enough to remember when sitting heads of state putting their names and likenesses all over the public space in other countries was regarded as an overt sign of authoritarian dictatorship and was not allowed in the USA?

The regime is freaking out about Congresspeople reminding those in the military that their oath includes the duty to ignore illegal orders because the regime knows just how many of the orders they are giving are illegal. And they want to issue so many more illegal orders yet.
