what i frankly encounter is a fair number of actually bisexual trans women identifying as lesbians, too

It's ultimately a good thing, I think. It means there are so many out trans people that seeing one of us in public is unremarkable, even to us, but losing that instant connection is a loss.

it's kind of interesting. Trans community is a different game in the pacific northwest than it was in texas. There's so much more opportunity for community here, but there's not that "if you see another trans woman in public, you nod at her, and she gives you that knowing smile" thing either.

moving across the country and having to start over in person community has blown up my ratios. Now im a weird exotic thing to cis people also the doors are mostly open to making trans friends.

I'm literally seeing cis moderates have a big long "if you follow the assignments actual rubric, she should have got a 40, instead of the zero given, so therefore THIS WAS RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION".

the state of anything resembling "liberty" is FUCKED in both the US and the UK. i think thr only appropriate stance is solidarity with each other against our governments, rather than some abstract competition about who has it worse
