#ukbirding 6hrs invested dipping the #hudsoniangodwit nice #wheatear though. Strange the sighting was called while there was only 4 of us left. Guess the others on the opposite ridge saw it?? I most certainly could not pick it out. 3 main flocks to work through and so very distant.

Early start for a morning meet with Gull type folk at Sunny Cromer. I think we ended up 7 Caspians and at least 2 Yellow-legs. Brilliant morning. It did feel we may have left it too late, but they came eventually. Beautiful birds.

A nice Oak Bush Cricket and a ground Beetle with a thin Thorax. Birds - Juv Kestrel, Peregrine, Juv Linnets, Goldfinch, Chaffinch. Dull and dismal, definitely not Spot Fly Weather.

#crofthill - The Ants were out in big numbers last night.
A nice Oak Bush Cricket and a ground Beetle with a thin Thorax. Birds - Juv Kestrel, Peregrine, Juv Linnets, Goldfinch, Chaffinch. Dull and dismal, definitely not Spot Fly Weather.
